Had the set 3-course lunch here today. Outstanding! The restaurant is quite small so make sure you book in advance, and it has a nice feel. The food is absolutely top-notch, beautifully presented, and I thought it was great value for the high quality you get. We had a nice chat with the head chef, Nick Edgar afterwards, who explained he used to be head chef at Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir. Staff are attentive and knowledgeable. The menu changes every two weeks so definitely worth returning. Hambledon Vineyard are investing in expansion, so the drive-up and parking looks a bit messy at the moment as they are working on another building, but the restaurant is currently elsewhere on the site and this doesn't detract. Highly recommended!

We visited for the winery tour and tasting. Excellent great-value experience, took a good 2 hours. Our host, Clive, was very informative about the whole process from vineyard to bottle, and I've been to many. Plus the heritage of England's oldest winery, dating back to 1952. Even if you're not into wine, the location is lovely, sat high in a broad green valley. From where you get to taste fiine sparkling wines with a high quality ethos. Well worth it.

Fabulous Food! Car park/mud needs sorting asap!We had our first trip to the new restaurant on 29th Feb 2024 (table of 4) the food is of very high quality and is an experience as well as delicious. The chefs bring out your food and explain each course (we chose the 6 course menu), each are beautifully presented and 2 courses had an accompanying sauce which was poured by the chefs. Looking forward to going back, however there are some issues around the parking/mud, overall look, lighting and signage that need to be sorted. We arrived in the evening and it wasn't clear where to go as there was no signage, it was also pitch black and there is no lighting in the car park. There is no way out of the top of the car park as it is covered in mud and piles of rubble, you had to walk down to the bottom of the car park to then walk up the drive. The restaurant experience was so good once you were in, but the entrance/car park really spoilt it.

Excellent couple of hours in the company of a very interesting host. Some great history surrounds Hambledon Vineyard, which as a local, I was completely unaware of. Finished off the tour with a little taster and left with a couple of bottles. Highly recommended.

We went on the vineyard tour today hosted by Rab/Rob?. It was an excellent, well informed and interesting tour of Englands oldest commercial vineyard . We have been on a number of these tours both in France and the UK and this was the best so far with a full tour and explanation of the process of producing their superb sparkling wine. We will definitely have a return visit

An interesting tour, well presented. It helps if you like sparkling wine! I don't personally.
