What an amazing tea room. I wanted somewhere different for mums birthday lunch and found this little gem. I pre-booked easily via email and would recommend doing so as it appears to be very popular. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and there was even a birthday balloon/flowers by our table. I love visiting The Old Forge.All the staff are so lovely and welcoming. I can't get enough of the sandwiches and they are so generous with the portion.The cakes there are amazing as well!I also recommend their high tea and I promise you will be coming out with a doggy bag because you'll be so full.

I went here today for lunch following a dog walk. I couldn’t tell you how great every single member of staff was. They’re clearly dog lovers! Made room for me and my staffy cross and made us feel so welcome. Food was delicious with doorstop loaf sandwiches and very reasonably priced. They also came out with treats for my pup! Will definitely be going back soon! 10/10
