“I’m traveling so my appetite has not caught on to the 8 hour time difference. Realizing that it was getting late I dashed to the square to forage for something anything to sustain me, and so pleased with my hasty decision. I plopped myself at an empty table and in no time I was greeted by a very nice and attentive waiter. I believe it may have been the owner or manager that brought my pint, equally as friendly (a value that is lately in short supply). I ordered a simple pepperoni pie. Let’s face it, the bedrock of a good pizza is the crust. They have nailed it in that department. Not thick and bready, crisp at the edge and a couple of those wonderful air bubbles, I don’t know why, but I love those. The sauce was spot on, tasting of fresh tomato lightly seasoned with garlic and oregano. They use a good quality pepperoni, not salty or too thick, it gets that nice little crispy edge. Fellow pursuers of the perfect pie know what I’m talking about.As I said, it was late and I realized that these lads were ready to close shop, but they started the breakdown quietly and respectfully so as not to make me feel rushed. I highly recommend dining here for every reason and expectation one dines out.”
