I recently made a pit stop at Shell northbound Sutton Scotney. Grabbed some fuel, coffee, and snacks. The sight of Costa machines and a variety of hot and cold snacks was a relief. Facilities were solid, and the staff were friendly. However, the time it took the pump to fill my tank was a bit longer than expected – I could've practically read through a Harry Potter novel during that wait.

Generally, a good service. Lots of room both on the petrol station and the hgv park.\\n\\nThe diesel is so slow lately. Normally, I can fill truck and trailer within 15 mins but lately just a tankful on the unit takes half an hour, so use in emergencies.

Won't stop here again, first time in years that somebody refuses to fill my drinking water bottle. And when I said please I can't buy it , thats why I'm asking , the lady then poor warm water from the kettle in my bottle ... Disgusting! what a rude person .

What can I say? Clean, tidy, nice staff? Definitely. But massively overpriced. Petrol was over 18% more expensive than normal so I didn't buy any. A chocolate bar and pack of chewing gum was £2.08, roughly 20% higher than a normal petrol station and about 258% more than I would pay at a normal supermarket for the same things. My fault for going on a long journey without preparing properly I guess, hence 2 stars rather than just one. They do serve a purpose but it's a very parasitical relationship. The service operators obviously can't regulate themselves. Accordingly, the monopolistic nature of motorway service stations really should be regulated...

Not very busy at time of visit.. inside was clean and all goods well stocked.. staff were polite and helpful with a decent selection if hot foods.. prices are reasonable but not on par with more local petrol stations, but that is normal for these service stops.. would use here again, no real negatives regarding my visit

Very pleasant experience all round, very courteous staff, efficient service and no long waiting, well presented and a credit to the brand.
