Was directly rejected even if that was heavily raining. These little girls told me it was too late. It was 2.30 pm. The shop closes at 3 and was full of people. It's not a professional way to deal with clients. There are hips of jobless adults who would love to work there and would know how to treat people in a polite way. Why do you employ young rude teenagers who don't have any ideas about business ? Wanna be in touch with the manager asap

Very poor customer service skills . Staff are all very young and were not in any way aplogetic when I pointed out that what we had ordered was not what we received to drink.I was told we don't do that anymore. However no one said that to us at the time of ordering.Pointed out that the menu should therefore be changed if it's no longer provided to which there was no response.I later mentioned my point again and was barked at "we will change it".Not impressed at all and when paying my husband was asked whether he would like to leave a tip by pressing a button on the machine!!Left feeling quite astounded by the poor communication skills of these young girls.

The coffee was great. A barista that knows that a flat white is not a small latte! The avocado toast was good. The trouble was the door that wouldn’t shut! It was freezing and every time the wind blew the door swung open. The waitress seemed oblivious to the poor clienteles shivering. I eventually put a chair in front of the door but the missing letter flap meant that we all still add a ‘nice’ draft wafting about our ankles. Lock the door, put a sign on the door to use the other door and then get a new latch robust enough for the location and replace the flap. Customers comfort has to be important.

Opens 9 - 5. Grand selection of tea, coffee and cakes and food at a reasonable price. Table service or buy to go.

Poor welcome at 2.pm when we walked in the door to be greeted with 'No lunch, just drink and cake' I smiled and said that was fine. It took a long time for them to take our order. Coffee was lovely, cakes were very dry at the edges. Ww were horrified to be told we couldn't use the toilet because the girl had just put bleach in it. ie she was cleaning before closing time and wanted a quick get away on a Friday afternoon. Our receipt shows we paid on our way out at 2.30pm a full half hour before closing time. Poor customer service. We won't ever return. Very disappointing.

Service slow and without any interest in the guests. Food is average quality. When we entered the premises we had to look out for somebody to show us the table. Nobody brought the menu. After quite some time one of the (only) very young girls came and asked us, what we want to order. We replied: we need the menu to be able to answer this question. No reaction at all though menu was provided. Another girl started to swipe the floor, slow motion and not with love to detail. Some dirt was accumulated under several tables and then cleaning ended. Afterwards (and 45minutes before closing of the shop) a sign was hung up "setting area closed". Food was provided (average) and again nobody showed up to clean away the dishes. We Wenn to the counter, again, not much interest in the customer. One girl was clearly engaged in a private call, the other was cleaning the coffee machine. Very poor service. There are several much better establishments in Winchester.

Lovely little quirky cafe, food is really nicely freshly cooked. Nice quiet area of Winchester just over the bridge. Staff super friendly.
