Popped in for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised with the vegan and Gluten Free menu! We had a normal fish finger sandwich with side salad, a GF fish finger sandwich, and shared a bowl of vegan sheesy chips! Scrumptious!
Lovely little pub. Landlady is public facing and very welcoming. We had a short wait for a table and the landlady kept us informed all the way as to how long a wait was in front of us. Bar staff were friendly. Food is really good and was well worth the short wait. Pub has a smashing atmosphere. We felt welcomed comfortable and relaxed for our lunch and would highly recommend this pub. The tellys were off and the music was at a reasonable level. A very warm and friendly welcome from everyone. When we asked to move tables so that our dog wasn’t in the way, we were accommodated with no issues at all. The food was really good, proper pub grub. I had the lamb shank and chips and my partner had gammon egg and chips. Both cooked well and a sizeable portion. Drinks came quickly. Would definitely come back.
