The rain was coming down sideways and it felt like 4 below......the sign on the door said "come on in. Its warm in here" so we did....and the sign did not lie. Very good service from the beginning. Lovely helpful and cheerful waitresses and a great cup of coffee. Filled croissants were excellent. All very enjoyable except the tables were a bit grubby and could have done with a clean. A few Christmas decorations would not have gone amiss and on a personal note......I dislike dogs...read full review

A little disappointed with this visit. Tables weren’t wiped , no spoons available. No Christmassy atmosphere upstairs .. all a bit uninspiring.Had a very nice coffee and lemony pastry at the end of September which was

After strolling up and down the high street looking for a place to get a late lunch no where really appealed to me until i stumbled over this little gem tucked away, you would walk right past it and not know it was there. My BLT and coffee was perfect, along with pastry latter. the team were welcoming and service was good. Ive already said to colleagues that next time we are in Winchester we must go back.
