Got the seeded sourdough but wasn't quite what I expected. The consistency is more like Ciabatta... do you guys put oil in the dough or something?Anyway, the bread is fine I guess (better than what you'd get at Tesco) but sadly still not on the level of good homemade bread.

I was excited to get something nice on my way home and visited this establishment at 4:15 on a Thursday only to be told they were closed so I couldn’t buy anything. If you stop serving people at 4:15, don’t say on your website and door to your establishment that you close at 5, say you close when you stop serving people. I’m fed up of businesses doing this, don’t waste your time and money, I went to the co-op instead.

The rain was coming down sideways and it felt like 4 below......the sign on the door said "come on in. Its warm in here" so we did....and the sign did not lie. Very good service from the beginning. Lovely helpful and cheerful waitresses and a great cup of coffee. Filled croissants were excellent. All very enjoyable except the tables were a bit grubby and could have done with a clean. A few Christmas decorations would not have gone amiss and on a personal note......I dislike dogs in restaurants, especially wet ones.

Overpriced for the quality. Baguette was nice but didn't seem that fresh. Croissants definitely didn't have the expected crunch a fresh croissant of the day would still have at 11am on a dry day. Coffee was OK but at £3.40 for a flat white I would expect it to be great. This was bitter with overheated milk.

A lovely building but we had to have a pastry to sit in with a coffee, to be eaten from a paper bag (had to ask for a knife to cut it - plastic given!) No plate and no silver cutlery. Short staffed hence staff were not over friendly. Such a shame. We found a lovely French Patisserie 5mins away.

A little disappointed with this visit. Tables weren’t wiped , no spoons available. No Christmassy atmosphere upstairs .. all a bit uninspiring.Had a very nice coffee and lemony pastry at the end of September which was

Great coffee.I'd also recommend the pain au chocolat and the sourdough bread.

Had a very good rooibos tea with a lovely savoury pastry here with the bonus of seeing their very special 16th century decorative

I had a hummus, tomato, mushroom and rocket bap. £7. Lots of bread; minute amount of filling. If I hadn’t taken it to the car to eat on my way home, I would have returned the ‘lunch’ and complained. Save your money and go elsewhere. Utterly

After strolling up and down the high street looking for a place to get a late lunch no where really appealed to me until i stumbled over this little gem tucked away, you would walk right past it and not know it was there. My BLT and coffee was perfect, along with pastry latter. the team were welcoming and service was good. Ive already said to colleagues that next time we are in Winchester we must go back.

Stumbled upon this eatery whilst walking around Winchester so we decided to pop in and check out the coffee which was 10/10. The building itself is also a gem, full of character and history. The staff were great too. .

The staff were all SO lovely and SO welcoming. So many delicious cakes to choose from, decided on the cookie s’more slice on the recommendation of the staff member and omg it did not disappoint - it was gorgeous! Such a stunning location and gorgeous cafe. Even the Earl Grey tea was delicious! 10/10 would absolutely recommend.

I ordered an oat latte and a baguette. Both were superb and exceeded expectations. Baguette was especially good. Would definitely recommend a visit.

I heard the bakery was expensive, but I wasn't prepared for how expensive. I ended up having a sausage roll as this was cheaper than a £7.99 sandwich! The sausage roll wasn't even that nice and had an odd taste to it. The coffee was hot, but I wasn't offered sugar and it was served in a paper cup. I'm not sure if this is the norm, but it's not very environmentally friendly and for the price I would expect a mug. I won't be going there again.
