Despite the huge birthday party taking up the whole of the ground floor, the staff at Gilbies - and particularly our waitress Rachel - looked after the two of us wonderfully well. We were given a table up on the mezzanine floor, our drinks were brought and our order taken nice and quickly, and then the food turned up in really good time. And the food was great! A selection of delicious tapas dishes, the star of the show being the Teriyaki belly pork (we'd eaten here before, so we ordered two portions). The party downstairs was in full swing when we left, wishing the staff good luck for the rest of the evening. Another memorable meal, and we'll definitely book in at Gilbies again, next time we're down Hereford way.

Stopped off at gilbies for cocktails on a night out on the 26th September . It was clean and welcoming, good choice of drinks available and well made and great customer service from Levi, Ellen from Devon and Kara with a K. They all made it a great visit would recommend

Fantastic little bar, shame it seems to be a bit undiscovered, or actually that may be its charm. We visited at 19.00hrs and I am sure that when the teenagers get out of bed at 10pm it will be extremely lively.

Arrived and asked if there's wheelchair access or may be a ramp. The young lady looked horrified at my request. She wasn't sure if they had a ramp and the staff were running around with plates of food.No answer about a ramp so we left and had a meal elsewhere. Will be speaking to the authorities about lack of access and poorly trained staff.Thankyou for the reply . I note it was late. The lady in question had no idea if you have a ramp or where is may be located. The staff looked stressed and were unable to inform us if you have a ramp or the desire to welcome wheelchair users. As a result we left.A little more honesty from the management would be welcomed.

Love the atmosphere here, lovely to sit outside when warm enough and just tucked away off the highstreet it doesn't feel like your in the centre of townParking: In the centre of town there is no parking specific for the bar but plenty of paid car parks around nearby.

Had a great meal, reasonably priced, thought the drinks were expensive though, fiver for a bottle of beer. Would go again because the food was so good.

A friend and I had a most enjoyable tapas lunch, sitting outside in the pretty courtyard. The service from Max was excellent - he was both very friendly and efficient. And Keiran came up trumps in the kitchen with the selection of six tapas - all delicious and freshly prepared to order. Highly recommended and good value for money. Thank you.

Visited with friends for bottomless bubbly ( Prosecco , lager & mimosas) and tapas and thoroughly enjoyed it. All the food was well presented and flavourful and our drinks were kept topped up . Will definitely be visiting again.

We spent a lovely couple of hours here under the shade of their pagoda in peaceful surroundings off the Main Street. The tapas were delicious just like in Spain, nice wine at reasonable price and good service by Rachel. It’s the second time we’ve been here and would definitely make a point of going back. Highly recommended.
