Despite the huge birthday party taking up the whole of the ground floor, the staff at Gilbies - and particularly our waitress Rachel - looked after the two of us wonderfully well. We were given a table up on the mezzanine floor, our drinks were brought and our order taken nice and quickly, and then the food turned up in really good time. And the food was great! Stopped off at gilbies for cocktails on a night out on the 26th September . It was clean and welcoming, good choice of drinks available and well made and great customer service from Levi, Ellen from Devon and Kara with a K. They all made it a great visit would recommend

Fantastic little bar, shame it seems to be a bit undiscovered, or actually that may be its charm. We visited at 19.00hrs and I am sure that when the teenagers get out of bed at 10pm it will be extremely lively.
