Dropped in last night (Sunday) and the pub was most welcoming and friendly. A great range of good beers, ciders and lagers and they even had ginger wine which is ideal for a cold evening. A lovely open log fire was also very welcoming. Definitely worth dropping in and I think they do a Sunday lunch which sounds excellent.

An indulgent and lush Sunday Roast - between the four of us we had beef, pork and nut roast with all of the trimmings and generous portions of properly prepared veg, including cauliflower cheese, red cabbage, carrots, peas and mangetout. Everything was so well prepared - we had just enough room for crumble and ice cream. Absolutely what a Sunday Lunch should be. A really friendly welcome too.

What an absolute gem of a place. The food, atmosphere and staff made our weekend away after having a meal here. so much so that we have decided to come back and stay here next year. They bent over backwards to accommodate us and the staff and locals were super friendly. I can recommend the chicken and pasta, absolutely delicious. Make sure you book in advance because they seem to get super busy. We just happened to turn up after a cancellation.

Party of 5 plus dog were first time diners at The Harp. If today's food and service is anything to go by we will be returning regularly. The choice of lunch menu was small but covered all tastes. Between us we had the meat, fish and veggie meals all were beautifully presented, well cooked and very tasty. A shout out to the chef who also knows how to cook and present fresh vegetables, a skill often lacking in many restaurants/pubs. The desserts were equally as good. Food at its best and great value for money. Additionally the friendly welcome and top service made a great impression on all of us.

Family party of eight have just enjoyed a fantastic Sunday Lunch at the Harp Inn . Quick friendly service , delicious food ., generous portions , freshly prepared and cooked to perfection , the beef and lamb were so tender and tasty . Great selection of desserts , home cooked and delicious. Couldn’t fault a thing . Great views and was very special to meet Ripple the three legged rescue pup and her super friendly owner . Would be worth driving 3 hours from home to experience this again , might even book a room to stay over . Can’t recommend enough !

We had a Sunday roast. Beef and vegetables cooked to perfection. Roast potatoes tasted reheated and were unpleasant, so we didn't eat them. Puddings were lovely. Overall great foodFood & drinks: Not much of an atmosphere, some gentle background music would have been nice.

Yet again a lovely sunday lunch love this little pub. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. Food is excellent. Not sure if the main restaurant part is reserved for guests only but each time we have been we have been seated in the pub part no problem with this except bit drafty sat by the door with everyone in and out but being as it's a traditional old building this can't be helped. Would love to stay here next time. Wonderful people.

The Harp is by far one of the best places I have ever enjoyed a pint!!!! We didn't stay over night so unable to pass comment on the rooms, though I do hear they are great! The service is beyond a doubt spot on!!! EVERY member of staff looks after the clientele from start to finish. The locals make you welcome and you really do feel at peace in this pub setting!!!Make it happen and pop in!!!

Great food and setting. They were a bit frantic about a larger booking that we had to move our booking to accommodate. This led to us being rushed a little to make our orders before the larger booking got stuck in and for a bit of a frantic shop floor. Not a huge issue but think could be better masked. Would def come back.

A great little find! We're staying in the area for a few days and were recommended The Harp Inn for a Sunday roast, which did not disappoint! Lovely food, generous portions, cracking service and that view...!

We had booked a room for two nights over the Royal Welsh Show. However, on the eve of the show, our booking was cancelled and we were offered a room with an external toilet due to an administration error…no thank you !! I thought booking was safe through Booking.com but obviously not. I did notice a bad review from a local ( which seems to have disappeared ) but don’t worry its not just locals they disrespect.
