I’ve raised over £1207 for their charity CLIC Sargent.The staff at The Dukes Head here are excellent, on the ball, there is no rowdiness or anti social behaviour even on the weekend. They have the sport on.John the Manager has made a great team, brill cask ales, great staff who work together to give customers a great experience. Saffron a bar tender has become a friend. Disabled access is great as I can get into the beer garden if I want.Well done The Dukes Head, Leominster a lot of other venues would do well to take a leaf out of your book.Wheelchair accessibility: Downstairs toilet doors that allow a wheelchair to go through (no awkward narrow doors) lift to the garden- just wish access was for disabled people only…”
Bar • “My personal preference wouldn't have been live music, but they were keen and animated. Friendly staff, decent beer, inviting atmosphere, fun customers and clean environment. Would return and venue deserves to do well.”
“We ate there as a group of eight on a Friday evening. Very nicely laid out place with a great interior and tasteful decor. Waiting staff were all really nice and attentive and knew the menu inside out. Myself and my partner were really happy to see they had a vegetarian/vegan option for main and starter and also three other plant based options on request. They happily veganised some side vegatable options we ordered for the group table and nothing was made to feel like an extra chore. Everyone else was happy with their meat dishes so thumbs up all round. Portions were very generous and all the food was local fresh and very delicious. Top marks and many thanks. Would definitely recommend and return again if in the area in the future.”
