“We spent Valentines Day here, absolutly beautiful food, so many amazing flavours, wow, stunning relaxed setting, staff very attentive, polite, service was spot on, it was a full house but everyone had the full attention from staff, highly recommend A*****”

Wednesday night, had a lovely starter, was presented so lovely (patè) 2 steak and 1 fish ordered, all cooked to perfection and I don't use that word lightly! the food was absolutely perfect! it's so hard to go out for good food lately but tonight has proved that people still know how to run a good pub with nice food! the wine was served to a good temperature and was really good pair choice with the steak. the hosts were really welcoming. I'm told by the other half that the ale is "well kept" and a good pint. overall it's a super little pub with excellent food and we'll kept drinks! credit where it's due and definitely reccomend this place thankyou to the chef and team at the cross ❤️”

“We stayed overnight in our camper including EU. A warm welcome was given and even kept the kitchen open for us. We chose our food and played board games with our grandson whilst it was freshly cooked. We couldn't knock anything. Even our fussy eating grandson told chef how amazing his Chicken Burger was. We will certainly be back in the next month or two. Thanks for the lovely welcome Tracy, Jonathan, Bruce and Benny the dog.”

“Advocate call in on the way back from Wales. Good little pub with nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Four of us had the Sunday dinner there each picking different meats ( beef, lamb and Turkey) and all very good meals. Would we come again.... Yes !”
