Really cute little spot - we’re visiting Leominster and previous experiences have made me slightly wary of local pubs as they often make visitors feel a bit unwelcome but this one completely shattered that preconception! From the very start the staff were absolutely lovely, knew their beers and were able to give recommendations, and were just generally friendly and welcoming throughout. Visited The Balance this evening. Absolutely buzzing, vibrant atmosphere packed with locals enjoying themselves. Very efficient, cheerful bar staff and well kept beer. We had a beautiful meal. Hunters chicken and fish and chips, perfectly cooked and presented. Will be returning very soon

Dropped by for a post-walk Sunday lunch. Despite outward appearances, the Balance had great service and amazing food - two beef roasts and a stonebaked pizza were each delicious. Slightly tired looking but the food was outstanding.
