We came to the New Inn on the strength of previous reviews. We were not disappointed. The Sunday roast, pork with crackling, was excellent and accompanied by a varied selection of veggies. Which included cheesy leeks, the apple sauce was home made as was the meaty gravy? The staff were really friendly & attentive, just a good all round experience and excellent value. Thank you so much ?Ps, the cackling was to 'die for', excellent ?

Don't be decieved by its roadside appearance. This is a beautiful local pub with hearty, perfectly cooked food and good portions to boot. It's late February, so it was very quiet but expect it to be busy once the tourist season gets underway.Years of local knowledge and a friendly welcome from the Landladies was great.P.S my wife is still talking about the salad. DELICIOUS

What a fantastic place, it's an old building which is a pub, restaurant entertainment room. There is a bar area in 2 of the rooms with a great range of alcoholic drinks and soft drinks available at both. The place has a lot of ambience, feeling and history. Service is great as are the food and drink available. There is a reasonable size downstairs room for showing films and putting on music. The kitchen and loos are downstairs also! There is an outside area for drinks and food, good to have. All in all it's a great pub and I rate it 100%

Most enjoyable shoot dinner last night, Venison Pie was delicious, large selection of vegetables and ginger tart + a sublime cheeseboard to follow.Friendly, efficient service and a lovely atmosphere in this pub.

The 4 of us stopped in Pembridge last week for 4 nights. On the first night we wandered into this very old and quite remarkable pub. We had a few ales (which were lovely hand pulled pints) and decided to eat there. I cannot sing the praise of the food highly enough. Truly outstanding food. It was that good we ate there 3 nights out of the 4 we nights we stopped (it would have been every night if we hadn’t decided to have a curry outside of the village one night) Rosie in the kitchen and Jane front of house are a great team (alongside their lovely and attentive staff) We would recommend this pub to anybody who wants a superb hand pulled pint and fantastic food in a very charismatic old pub. What a Gem! Mark, Annie, Steve and Helen

Went up to see Pembridge Black and White Village and came across the New Inn for lunch. So old with loads of atmosphere, quaint and old-fashioned . Wife had a "bacon sandwich" half a baguette with so much local bacon she only just finished it but could not manage the bowl of local potato chips. I had the ploughmans easily enough for two, slices of pie plus a couple of thick slices of local thick-cut ham two large chunks of cheese, salad, pickled onions, an apple, a slice of melon and chutney and two chunks of fresh bread. had to bring the cheese home, so good. Couple of pints all very good prices.

We were a large family group in for dinner so had booked in advance. The service and the food were superb, as was the atmosphere in the pub. The menu had some good pub grub stalwarts and also some interesting specials, all freshly prepared. Everyone enjoyed their meals and our children were also well catered for and their food came really nice and quickly. Highly recommend a meal at the New Inn.
