“We stayed overnight in our camper including EU. A warm welcome was given and even kept the kitchen open for us. We chose our food and played board games with our grandson whilst it was freshly cooked. We couldn't knock anything. Even our fussy eating grandson told chef how amazing his Chicken Burger was. “Called in for lunch yesterday. What a classic unpretentious easy to enjoy historic place!
There were no free tables in the dining room so we and our drinks were put in a small snug with an enormous fireplace.
No problem in getting variations to the published menu. We had a salmon fillet and breaded whitebait with salad and fresh steamed vegetables.
All very tasty and very reasonable price.
