Larger than average Costa with comfortable seating, good range of foods...toasties, baguettes, salads, cakes and cookies etc. Selection of coffees/teas/iced drinks. Friendly staff, nice place to relax and unwind.

If service can give minus 5, I will, no ketchup, asked for tissue, only gave ONE piece of tissue, this is when you ask, if not, they won't give you any, no salt and pepper, what a poor cafe, when asked anything like glass of water or something, one of the female employee always rudely tell you off or said 'I don't understand what you said', since the manager on maternity leave, the new team are awful. Me and my friend's will look for new cafe to meet up our weekend coffee.

Extremely poor sandwich selection, virtually nothing left before lunchtime. Sandwich was only toasted one side. I would have liked the mozzarella panini but the person infront of me ordered it and it wasn’t flat like I’ve had many times before from other Costas. I paid £4 something for a small special hot chocolate that said it was rolo but there was no caramel, just a very overpriced cold hot chocolate, and the woman who made it was rude. The place was also filthy and they wanted to move the table next to us while people were eating at it. The guy behind the counter to his credit was polite but that was the only positive - he didn’t know how to toast a sandwich but maybe he was new, and there were only two staff. Will not be returning. Being relatively new to the area it really needs a good coffee shop

Excellent and very kind service by Ralf. As belong to hospitality field, we had a great day spent at costa coffee. The ambience and decor is very beautiful. 5+ star ⭐️ ?

I have never experienced such terrible customer service. 2 young girls working, zero customer service. No tables were clean, rubbish overflowing from the 1 bin. The counter was filthy, no oat milk, no waters at 9am in the morning. Many had complained about the state of the place whilst I was dining in with my children. Once we had finished our food, I cleared the. table and politely took to the counter to be told “that doesn’t go there” put on the trolley behind you! By the young girl who then continued to argue her point that she was busy?! Maybe helping to clear the tables in future might not be my priority to have it thrown back on my face?! Manners do not cost a thing. Costa needs to maybe train their staff to manage their job roles a bit better and to be polite and maybe consider the state of the place and clean tables! Unhygienic to say the least.Dietary restrictions: Dairy free

Visited a few days ago and can honestly say I have never in my life received such poor service… the service was extremely slow and when I was placing my order I was asked whether I would like cream with my drink to which a very rude member of staff told the girl at the checkout no cream as I quote “I don’t have time for that”. When I questioned this she told me she doesn’t have time to be making cream, I’m sorry but is that not part of the job ? If there had been a shortage of stock then fair enough but to blatantly say you don’t have time clearly you need to manage your time better to work more efficiently. The shop on a whole was filthy no tables had been cleared, and personally I would not step foot inside here again.

I am referring here to the Costa in the Tesco Extra supermarket. We would visit here most days from 2011 until 2018. I got to know the staff and it was a pleasant cafe to visit. A week ago we decided to visit again and have a coffee. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was our worst coffee in years, I left half a cup. My wife had an iced drink. She tried my coffee and she agrees fully with my review. The service was PAINFULLY slow. The seating is very good. The staff are foreign, but nothing new there.Anyway, the coffee was horribly bitter, and I really can't believe that Costa can be pushing this stuff. If it's a franchise then I sense that something isn't right, enough said.

Have been a few times and always ok, went for lunch on tuesday and was served by a extremely rude girl behind the counter who went out of her way to be obnoxious, she spent so much time moaning she obviously didnt see how dirty the whole restaurant was pigs wouldn't eat in it, put me off Costa for life if it's that dirty at the front can only imagine what it's like behind, used to do my shop in tesco every week but this experience has put me off using the shop as well, truly stunned by the levels of incompetence and pure rudeness of that girl behind the counter.
