“Popped in here after our car broke down and it was the perfect respite. Good pint, nice BBQ and some surprise carnival tunes. I think it’s just been taken over by someone new and they’ve done a great job.

It might not be what you’re looking for but for us, it made an annoying day that much better. So it’s a big thumbs up from me.”

“A massive thank you to the landlord Wayne. After a late realisation that our usual venue was being used as a polling station, I stopped off at the Oak on the off chance they would let me use some space so I wouldn't have to cancel. Wayne couldn't do enough! I was ready for a glare and a no but Wayne immediately started clearing out an area for us indoors & allowed us exclusive use of the garden space for the children for the hour session! In this day & age it is so nice to come across someone who just said yes no problem! Thanks to Wayne at the Oak- you saved our irish dancing class.”
