Over the past couple of years, we have regularly booked a table for four with you. We have always been met quickly at the entrance and shown to the table that we requested at the time of booking. Kelly has always attended to us and although we have previously noted how attentive Kelly is at keeping the area clean, looking after other customers, dealing with our various mixed orders, which are usually a combination of carvery and vegetarian, she has always managed to get it right and arranged drinks in a timely manner. It wasn't until our most recent visit, (a December Thursday evening), when the restaurant was completely full with Christmas groups and parties, that we saw Kelly continue to manage it all as if it were still a standard evening. The four of us all felt she deserves the following accolade, 'Well done Kelly'. She looked as if she couldn't stop to take a breath, yet took it all in her stride. As for the food, we always feel we know in advance, that we will enjoy our choices, with a great carvery and an array of roasted vegetables, making our return a given. We probably won't visit again until the New Year but we know we will always look forward to it when we do. Thank you, to all of the team but especially to Kelly who clearly takes pride in her work. If Toby Carvery Oaklands, had an 'Employee of the Month Award', hands down, Kelly should be the recipient of it!

Toby Carvery was a really nice experience. It was a go and see visit for me. Firstly I must mention that I require a mobility scooter to get around. Guests that were leaving kindly opened the entry door's for me, I proceeded to the " Reception Desk " and was greeted in a friendly and professional manner by a young lady Adrianna, shortly thereafter I was shown to a nice table, comfortably seated. And now the food. A warm welcome by the chef, now, the choice of food available was so nice, assorted hot meats, juicy roast pork, gammon, turkey and juicy roast beef, I chose to have roast turkey and beef, also a selection of lovely vegetables, of special mention was the mashed potatoes that were fresh an so smooth, not lumpy and a lovely consistency, not dry, then of course fresh hot gravies and sauces, mint, horseradish and others too. Such a scrumptious real good food made well. A great lunch experience. A vast range of non beverages are available also, the bar areas are nice and spacious, a lovely peaceful atmosphere. Of special mention is the service that was afforded to me by Adrianna who made me feel comfortable as a first time visitor, immediately. Adrianna is helpful, friendly, professional as a welcoming host "meitredee" and professional in her execution of her duties. Also my sincere thanks to the gentleman chef who guided me through the selection of lovely foods. The tables, crockery and cutlery were clean, Bravo to all the staff. Thank you all for a really nice experience. I recommend this restuarant to all nice people. My, sincere thanks, Arnold Aarons. ( I'll be back.)

After a long 2 hour drive we decided to come to this Toby and we were glad we did our young waiter was so friendly and attentive and very cheerful the food was very fresh I cannot fault this place we will definitely come back again !

This is one of the best Tobys we have been in. Meat is always good. Just wish they would always do red cabbage. They had it last week. It was lovely.
Great value carvery. Desserts were great. Men's WC could use a facelift! Revisited and men's WC is still extremely smelly!

Stopped here for breakfast on the way to our holiday . Place looked very tied and in need of maintenance. Food was ok. Mens toilets where all out of action so had to use the disabled toilet .

Had a really lovely meal with my 2 friends and their baby. The beef was absolutely delicious and was fork tender.Will be coming back again. The chef Johny was fantastic and entertained us at the carvery deck while carving our meats.

Its a shame. All this restaurant needs is structure. Went there in a large group but at no point did the staff tell anyone the system for ordering / collecting food. In.our group tgere were 3 different versions of how to get food.The food was great however. As always Toby Carvery supplied good food.Ordered desert at the end but even that took 35 to 45 mins to get to the table.Place was clean and tidy. But meal was tainted by the lack of structure.

Yesterday we had a great time in your pub in Borehamwood. Cristina is offering an excellent customer service, it was my friend's b-day, and we surprised her. We had the best time and the food is super tasty. Will definitely will go back soon.
