Always a busy popular Pizza Express. Service is good and staff are very friendly. Food is greeat. I had lasagne which was delicious and piping hot. No carpark but there is parking nearby. Good location in Harpenden High Street. Visited on many occasions with fairly large family group and we are always accommodated easily.

Pizza express Harpenden has had a bit of a face lift since our last visit.Areas of it are a little more secluded now whereas before it was all open plan.I preferred the open plan lay out and it must have diminished their amount of table space. Its a shame they didn't spend a bit of money doing up the lavatory facilities at the same time.....The new layout hasn't affected the service which has always been very good along with great food.Ive started using their app to keep track of my what I'm spending and you can even use it to add any discounts and pay the bill .All in all a very nice place .Kid-friendliness: This particular restaurant is always popular with families.
Love this place, it's our go-to in Harpenden for both a checking midweek meal out or taking all the family out when they're visiting. I'd highly recommend the Spicy Giuseppe and the rewards on the app add up, even including free kids meals mon-thurs.Staff are really friendly and helpful too, and you're not waiting long for service nor food :)

Expensive!pizza is no where near what pizza should taste.Small portions.Very stingy on the cheese (1/3 was not even covered.Hair found in the cheese.Won’t recommend nor will return.The staff are kind.The concept is a ripoff value for money and food quality.?There is a real pizza place down the street from there.

We often go to pizza express but this was the first time in the harpenden branch. Decor was lovely. Service was really bad from one of the staff members who was just very rude to us and acted very snobby. Food itself was okay, ordered a margarita, gluten free mushroom pizza and polenta chips. The gluten free pizza had all the cheese put into the middle of it which was not ideal. The polenta chips were not cooked properly either. Unfortunately we won’t be visiting this branch again although it is our local one! Hopefully they will treat other customers better. @mga.eats

It's a very good experience today ,early this afternoon, my wife and I were at the harpenden store we had a great experience,the food was generous and great .I would like to thank the Shef and the waitress and not forgetting alex the manager for his effort specially when he found out that it was my wife birthday.Many thanks to all staff who were working early this afternoon.

We had spent lots of time in Pizza express when I just got my baby a few years ago. Today is the first time after the renovation, really looking forward to it, then they totally let me down, we ordered spaghetti for kid, it's as hard as rock, some burned, it's such a simple dish. And the service was bad, calling the lady, they just ignored you.Will never go back
