Popped in with our dogs for a spot of lunch, tried the specials (chicken pie followed by a tarte tatin) it was the best pub food I have had in Harpenden in a long time.The staff were welcoming and friendly.Would Highly recommend a visit.
Wife was meeting friends at this pub for drinks that evening so we decided to all have dinner there first. Food was delicious and came quickly (picture is of the desserts we had). A tiny ordering error (confusion between two items with very similar names) that was at least half our fault was quickly and cheerfully dealt with. We weren't complaining or upset, even so we were given a free side and beer in addition. Great evening!

Great pub near the park in Harpenden. Staff are friendly and service was good. I had the steak ciabatta which was very tasty. Reasonably priced and lots of choice on the menu. Kids menu available too. On street parking available nearby and several carparks in the town a short distance away.
