They seem forgotten how to make a basic coffee the way customer asked for. If you ask for an Americano, let's say, with hot skinny milk they make their own decisions and make it the way they like - completely ignoring what the money paying customer order. It's such a shame this happened may time now. Few of the staff (not all of them) are a bit rude as well. I would never go back to Costa in Hemel anymore Thanks, Costa (a coffee company) can't even serve customers with a basic Americano. I wish there was a Drive-in for Niro - such a wonderful coffee and staff as well.

We visit the drive through fairly regularly but today was the second time that we got the wrong drink. Said it was latte but definitely not. We took it back and they still said it was latte but tasted very sweet - maybe mocha? So always try your drink before you drive off. When you get the correct drink there's no problem.

The amount of rubbish generated from this place is absolutely shocking! Litter all in the local parks. Costa need to do something about this ASAP.

This morning on our way to work my husband and I tried to take a cup of coffee from Costa Coffee in Hemel Hempstead, the one next to Audi. My husband was with his working van and because there were high restrictions Ip to 2.5 m, sadly my husband’s van is 2.6m and we were not able to go trough... I went to check with the staff, however they said strictly that we can not be served because is against their policy..lol They did even bother to check or to consider speaking with supervisor or manager. Just to mention that I’ve been to other Costa places, unlike that one they were supporting key workers, happily making exceptions for that 0.1m. I can understand how serious is the situation with that virus around, because days on the road, working are all those cars/vans which are trying to help, deliver all the supplies and goods which we cannot go an buy as before the lockdown. Every day I am listening how everyone we should be more understandable, helpful and supportive and yet that costa team preferred to say a quick NO. The part that I cannot understand is that they weren’t even busy, how long would take to check with supervisor.. This place is not worthy to be visit even after the lockdown is over ..

We wanted to have a quiet snack and coffee. Besides the table being dirty, the toilet was extremely dirty and no toilet paper.

I liked the look of this coffee shop from the inside. The assistants were friendly and there were certainly a lot of of comfortable seats to choose from because to start with the place was empty. In fact, I felt it was too empty for my liking and I could hear everything that the assistants were chatting about at the counter 😅 It would have been nice if I could have been able to hear a bit of music, the cafe was too silent to make it a really enjoyable experience. However the coffee was perfectly made and the salted caramel muffin was fine.

Alot bigger inside than it looks, with working aircon. Clean and available tables. With enough barrista's to cope and not leave you queueing for 10 minutes.
