Staff are stretched, standards show it,

We were a bit disappointed really. The hotel needs a big refresh as things like the chairs in the dining area and bathroom tiles are a bit worn and looked dirty. The window in our room also didn't pull fully closed but that was just a minor issue. Can't fault the staff efforts though, well done team.

We booked skiing sessions at the Snowcentre in Hemel Hemstead and decided to do an overnight so I booked the Premier inn which was only a short 12 min drive away (came up as M1 Luton) but only 12 mins away?? so booked it anyway mainly because it was £69 cheaper than Premier Inn/ Travel Lodge located in Hemel Hemstead. I booked it on the evening before for a Monday (27th Feb 2024) and paid just £60 for a family room with King size bed and two single beds (for me and my two kids) and £9.99 for breakfast and kids eat free!! Plenty of parking. Staff are very welcoming and breakfast was cooked to order so fantastic. The room was spotless had everying you need, incl free wifi, they allowed me to check in an hour early and leave a little late by 30 mins too without any extra charge. Added bonus is that I dont think is was a particularly busey period didnt see many other guests. Overall Amazing value, excellent location, will always be booking here for future Snowcentre visits.

Great place. I've been many many times. Totally recommended it. Staff great. Great meal and breakfast deal. Secure parking at a minimal fee that gives you peace of mind. Booked again to go soon as I'm the area. Also a good option for London with the train direct to London Euston, worth it as the cost of hotels in London are way higher.Safety: Great securityFood & drinks: Excellent all round. The evening meal / breakfast deal is great value, and the food is great.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel over Christmas with my Husband. Restaurant was delicious and staff was so lovely and kind to us. It was really great being able to have ice for the room as this winter has been very tropical and not cold at all!!Loved the view of the water garden from our room and on the first floor balcony attached to other shops, was nice to look at the lights for a smoke break. Hotel was clean, quiet and loved having a side couch thing as sometimes we needed separate beds during the stay and it made it easier. If you buy the meal deal and don't wake up the next day for breakfast you are a little S.O.L - I wish we would have been able to use it for another day, or be refunded as during the holidays sleeping schedules are a miss, and we ended up staying up until 5am playing monopoly and forgot about our reservation! My only complaint is that the TVs are set to so low it makes it very difficult to hear, although I do understand the reasoning for it as past guests probably have abused this and bothered other people. I just wish it was a bit louder as some of the TV programs I couldn't hear a darn thing and i'm only in my early 30s, can't imagine what it must have been like for the older folks!Don't have your room key near your phone or it will demagnetize it, but other than that it was a lovely great stay!

Second Christmas running stayed here while visiting friends. The location is perfect right in town, also the car park is connected which is ideal. The buffet breakfast is plentiful and good. All for a reasonable price. The staff are really helpful also definitely recommend staying here if visiting

Absolutely unacceptable service! I stay here for 8 days and asked for my room to be tidied up, which is pretty much empty the bins and give me a fresh towel, three days in a row and nobody has ever done that! I have to empty my own bin and run downstairs for a clean towel every other day! The parking is NOT included with the booking and is in an inconvenient multi-storey connected to the hotel with a bridge. Not a single sign in sight saying it’s also the Premiere Inn’s car park! Also there is no other way to enter the hotel’s accommodations but using two lifts off which only one is operational and busy all off the time!

The hallways and the rooms smelled horrendously. The AC made the room smell even worse. The hotel in general did not seem very clean or looked after at all. It's alright for a night given the price, but wouldn't recommend staying more than that.

Lovely room, enjoyed breakfast, slept very well so quiet. Close to local amenities. Only issue was finding space for our van,but that's not their fault.
