i came here on Feb 21 2024 and you would not know how much i loved the cafe. food 5 stars loved the toast and the croissant, service 5 stars and atmosphere was 5 stars. surprisingly. when my mum ordered a table at the front there were some world book day books, i saw a book i was reading and told the staff member i was reading this book on my kindle, and the staff member said i could have it for FREE, but i refused to take it for free because i felt like i was stealing and paid...read full review
A charming little cafe and book shop hybrid with a very relaxed, ‘tea room’ feel. They have a lovely selection of home made cakes and treats as well as a breakfast menu, sandwiches and a soup of the day. It is very reasonably priced and I get the feeling that the cafe aspires to be a community hub in the way that it creates a homely feel which is not all ‘aesthetic and soulless’ like some of the chains and artisan independents. Lovely, child friendly cafe with great food & wonderful service.Kid-friendliness: There we highchairs, kids books & toys to keep little ones entertained. Also a changing mat, separate from the toilet & kid friendly food options.
