It makes such a change to see a varied and interesting menu with dishes all made from fresh ingredients. If you ever find yourself at South Mimms Services just travel about a mile further and eat here. You will not regret it.”

A pub for all seasons and all people. Great for sunday roast with the family a quiet coffee in the morning or a big night on a Friday. Not many pubs can pull that off but the one consistent thing is that the bar sfaff team are friendly, professional and authentic.”

“We met with friends at this little place. It's very clean and the staff and owners are very friendly and welcoming. The food was good, however, I chose calamari for starters and was disappointed that it wasn't cooked as well as it could have been. It was not crispy, golden batter but slightly soggy and light batter and somewhat chewy. Everyone I was with however, had different starters which they all enjoyed very much. The main courses, for all of us, were lovely and tasty and infused with great flavours. The portions are quite small though so if you have a big appetite, you may be a little disappointed. There wasn't much choice on the dessert menue either but I chose lemon cheesecake and it was fairly good. Considering the the prices, I would have expected larger portions and a little more choice on desserts.”
