The Plough is our local and we used to go there a lot. Then it went really downhill - this was long before the pandemic, so no excuses. However, we were told it has improved so had lunch there. Yes, it has improved and there is a much better choice of food. The staff were friendly. However, the food doesn't come up to the standards of other local pubs and cafés. It was mediocre. May pop in another time just incase we went on a bad day though.Dietary restrictions: Not terribly helpful. I can't have gluten, onions and a few other things due to a medical problem. I was extremely restricted here and I don't think the staff really understood.

Really disappointing. Hardly anything left on their menu. Presentation awful, food burnt & looked like it had been thrown onto the plates. Previously regular customers but not anymore. It was dreadful!

Food was very nice but the poor waitresses are so busy that they do tend to forget certain things but I don't feel that is their responsibility but apart from that it was a nice meal and I would go yhere again.

I have always loved this pub. Great food and great variety of it and very friendly staff very welcoming. There is a great atmosphere in the pub never been disappointed always come away satisfied. Would 100% recommend it to people.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp at the front of the plough pub and doors that are wide enough for wheelchairs ♿️

Disappointed after many years the menu has changed to chicken majority. It was plentiful and brought skewers home for tea, but the old menu suited many.
