“Beautiful little pub found by accident as the Premier Inn restaurant was shut, but so glad we did! Friendly, helpful staff, fresh food made to order and a varied menu. Lovely evening. Would definitely return of we were in the area again.”

“JUst had a breakfast at the Byng. Staff were OKish. But nice and friendly. Breakfast was a good standard. Can not really complain as price was decent. Will be back to another Spoons at some point.”

“We visited a few days ago, a lovely establishment to visit, it’s very cosy and very relaxing. I do love the fact you can bring your dogs inside. We had coffee upon arrival which were nice. Then decided to have some lunch, I ordered the roast chicken. It was delicious and probably one of the best I’ve had. The pricing wasn’t too bad for what we got. The atmosphere was also great. I took one star off the service ranking merely because I had noticed that the staff weren’t attentive to us as they were to other customers. We were only approached when the food we ordered had arrived and when the empty plates were being taken, which seemed to be by the manager/supervisor. Nothing in between that like the other tables. That’s the only reason for my mark down. However to the staff we did get served by we’re really polite and I’m sure this was a one off and definitely has not put me off from coming here again.”

“An inpromtu late lunch/dinner. Restaurant was deserted which always makes for a slightly uncomfortable feel. The view is ok. Menu is fairly priced. Our food came out at lightening speed. Food was good. No stand out moments. Sometimes I think service charge bumps up the bill a little bit too much especially when we are not a part of the tap water crew. I’d like to think staff are paid a fair wage and we don’t have to top them up?”
