A great Indian restaurant on the Roebuck Inn site in Stevenage.The food is fantastic - very fresh and relatively light. The Deccan Lamb starter was delicious. I had a chicken Chettinad and a spinach Dal with roti for main, which was all brilliant. The bread especially was perfect.The staff were friendly and attentive. This place is excellent if you do not see anything on the menu that takes your fancy ask the chef and he will make anything you like. I think the food here is very classic and so tasty give this place a try.

We visited early on a Monday evening, 18:30, which of course was a quiet time and therefore did not help with the ambience. It was a bit chilly and although clean and tidy it is all a bit tired. This is such a shame, as the food is very authentic indian in its cooking and presentation and tasted lovely. There were four of us, we all enjoyed our meals and thought it was good value for money. We will visit again but maybe a bit later in the week
