Called in for Sunday Lunch. A decent sized car park with good access. We hadn't booked but we were quite early and they did fit us in at a window table with a pleasant view. The staff were excellent, friendly and efficient. Opted for the Sunday Roast which was tasty and plentiful .. and we did manage a dessert too. It's situated ideally for a canal walk.
We had the most amazing time from the moment we arrived in the car park in our motorhome, (free to park) we needed water for our heating, frank the manager sorted it out for us and lent us a hose and allowed us to fill up from there garden area, we were meeting friends the following day for Sunday lunch, so we stayed overnight and had drinks, the bar staff were very friendly and accommodating, we had lunch the following day and it was excellent, can not fault this place or the...read full review

We hadn’t booked but we got a lovely table.. Had a delicious Sunday roast of turkey wrapped in bacon which was absolutely delicious and finished off with the spiced apple and mincemeat strudel
