Went for breakfast, it’s very small doesn’t come with beans. You have to order those separately but they don’t tell you that. So you would have to wait for them after already waited for your food. Although it was a small plate of food, the sausage was good, bacon was like it was cooked a few hours before. The 1 egg you get… yolk was hard and the white was runny. ( was cooked in one of those round things) The restraunt looks pretty & quaint , table was very sticky though. But it did keep my elbows off so wasn’t all bad. It needs to be more clear what comes on the plate, there is only one breakfast option around £11 which is fine but there should be an upgrade option otherwise you will wait all that time for a child size portion to arrive.

Just love the coffee, half way through our Sunday morning walk. Not tried the food so can't comment. Great service. Our dog Harry luvs the puppychino, it's his Sunday treat. ?

In general just expensive for what you get and not much thought put into it past getting it onto a plate. Then there was hair in food, items missing, and some very undercooked. When I asked the manager for help she said that she cooks some of the bacon very lightly because that’s what people like - not really sure what she meant by that - and there was nothing she would do for me. Young lad working the tables seemed embarrassed of her. Luckily the helpful manager of the farm shop next door offered a refund and apologised which was kind of him. Would come back to the farm which was a fun day out but unfortunately not to the cafe which is a shame. If you have a car I’d recommend going to one of the few other cafes which are a 10 min drive away.

Must have been unlucky as the other reviews and photos look good. Bacon was not cooked properly, plate was tiny, there was a long blonde hair in the food, and margarine on the toast instead of butter. Chef was extremely rude and although the waiter agreed to refund the dish, chef refused and argued I'd asked for half the bacon to be undercooked. Very strange, and unwelcoming. Definitely don't recommend.

I love how the cafe is on a working farm all the members on site were friendly and great .the cafe looked nice but the staff who worked in the cafe forgot stuff . They forgot one tea both days I went .The first time I went for breakfast I had a bacon bap and it was great the bacon was cooked perfectly but the second time I went I had an English breakfast and god it wasn't good . The eggs weren't runny and the sausage did not taste good ,the bacon was not edible and for £10 it's not worth it in my opinion .

Very good cafe for such a small village, its based on a working farm which allows members of the public to come and explore the farm, feed the animals and also has a decent campsite ! The staff where very friendly and helpful, it's not the cheapest but it's really good quality ingredients and very tasty !
Not to much of a wait as the farm wasn't too busy, but would imagine that if it was, there would be a wait, someone mentioned bring your own picnic, which would be a good idea on special events days.

We went lamb feeding today and had a great time. Stacey was very knowledgeable and engaging telling us all about the lambs and the farm. We had a really good amount of time in the enclosure with our lamb, which my 3 year old loved.
We spent a good 4 hours at the farm seeing the animals and playing in the woodland play area.
It is pretty buggy friendly, as long as it’s not been raining. It is a working farm so don’t expect smooth paths!
