The Jolly Waggoner, Ardeley, StevenageWe were staying in the local area and could walk to the pub from our accommodation. It was a Sunday lunch time and the pub was very busy, but we were given a nice table in the restaurant. We both ordered the Roast, husband had beef, I had pork. We both enjoyed it, however, found the garlic flavour on the vegetables a little over powering. Husband had the Sticky Toffee pudding and said it was one of the best he's ever tasted. Our waitress was really friendly and chatty. We'd definitelyreturn should we be in the area again.

Ardeley, StevenageJust love the coffee, half way through our Sunday morning walk. Not tried the food so can't comment. Great service. Our dog Harry luvs the puppychino, it's his Sunday treat. ?

The White Lion
White Lion, 31 High St, Walkern, StevenageWe had a lovely Sunday roast today on Mother’s Day with our mums and stepdads. The service was great and we all felt very welcomed. Lovely pub so thank you all at The White Lion. :-)
