Had a 10/10 proper English breakfast. Was gorgeous and reasonably priced. Had a lovely view and the staff were great, really friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

DON’T BOTHER IF HAVE CHILDREN IN PUSHCHAIRS.We wanted to have a breakfast the morning before we left IOW, we asked a local who recommended Eegons. As soon as we walked in we were refused service as we didn’t want to take our son out of his pram. Ridiculous.Kid-friendliness: Not child friendly. Will refuse you service if you have a pram.

They were closing early due to weather/lack of customers..so we had a pancake each & a hot drink. A basic cafe, no frills; it's on the 1st floor so not good for anyone who struggles with stairs.. but friendly, clean, quick..and a rare sea view over & between rooftops. Possibly the least expensive eating place in Cowes.Vegetarian options: Menu offers vege options.Parking: Eegons is in the Western precinct so parking is either in the nearest street, 2 mins.away, or on the Parade, 5 mins away, or M&S car park, 5 mins away.Wheelchair accessibility: Not possible as it's up a flight of stairs.

I love Eegons Café with a passion, it's not a fine dining experience, but the atmosphere and people who run it are a delight. We are always made to feel welcome, breakfast is delicious and is served right through until 13:00pm.The best way I can describe Eegons, is going round your parents for a traditional English breakfast. They treat you like family, happy to have a laugh with you and don't judge you for ordering a vege breakfast with bacon in your comfy clothes (It had been a day).Breakfast price also includes a hot drink or cold drink of choice (tea, coffee, orange juice, apple juice) and really drives the value for your money. They have food challenges available such as 5 of everything and a leader board of who has managed it.Breakfast is not all, as they provide lunch options, pancakes, sandwiches, lasagna, mac and cheese, burgers, cheesy chips and more. All in all, if want breakfast, or brunch or lunch, there's not another place I'd consider.Vegetarian options: There is a dedicated vegetarian option, I would advise there isn't a dedicated vegan option. The vege option includes:Hash browns, vege sausages (battered chick pea style not, meat alternative), mushrooms, beans, toast and fried bread, eggs and fried tomatoes with a complimentary tea or coffee or orange or apple juice. I have had this many times and it has always been delicious. They are very willing to customise orders with no fuss or resistance, staff are lovely!Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately there is a flight of stairs that leads up to the restaurant, with no alternative way up, the only option would be takeaway.
