We wanted food on a monday evening in November and a lot of the restaurants inbcowes where closed. We found this great pub, that did food on the cowes High Street. The burgers are delicious, so is the beer. When the fire place is lit the pub is cosy and warm.Food & drinks: Great place for food that's open most days.

Great place to visit for an inexpensive pub meal, watch a live band on a Saturday night - centrally located, opposite Cowes Yacht Haven pedestrian entry / exit gate

Overall a nice pub - the food we had was Tina good quality albeit there was quite a long wait between ordering and getting the food. The staff there were great and particularly helpful with accommodating my friend in a wheelchair. It was however very noisy when we were there which wasn’t great but overall nice and somewhere I’d go back to.

Very cool pub. Probably the go-to soaking be quite crowded but I have to say they staff it well so drinks don't take too long. Live entertainment on Saturday nights is pretty fun as well. Don't recommend it for kids on weekend nights but any other time it's perfectly fine and they have a nice outdoor patio.

Stopped for lunch...found it pricey, particularly the cheap frozen fried chips...after receiving the correct order...the chips were allegedly 'seasoned' but weren't even salted & considering they were £4.50 for a dessert bowls worth..pretty shoddy.

The prawn and salmon linguine is best avoided. Overpowering taste of tomato paste, so absolutely no flavour or taste of the fish at all. Disappointing dish.

Just dropped in for some soup and a drink as it was cool and overcast. Friendly staff, prompt service and fair prices. Lovely ambience created by the low beams, nautical theme and history that oozed out of the walls.
