We had a wonderful evening at the Vectis tavern after a brilliant week sailing. Good music and flowing drinks. I realised I had left my jumper behind the next day and the tavern kindly posted it to my home address the next day !! Lovely

I visit the Island regularly throughout the year. Always staying in Cowes. This weekend I invited some friends over from Holland,. We visited various attractions on the island during the daytime and spent our evenings relaxing in Cowes. The vectis is a favourite destination for myself and wife, so naturally headed there for a few drinks. We popped in after visiting a local restaurant for a quick pint and immediately impressed by the professional attitude and warm welcome from the two door staff and even more impressed by the staff at the bar. One quick pint turned to a few more and although it was getting busier for a Saturday night the staff were fab and friendly. We only left when we did as we had to get up early the next day but lovely little establishment and great service.
