Had a lovely starter, bruschetta, really fresh and well balanced. Two mains of steak were poor, very disappointed, service was not great, kind of pointed towards a table and left to it.

The food was really pleasant. Service was great, but the paper tablecloths let the restaurant down.

Really enjoyed this mama papas Italian restaurant, staff was so friendly the ambience was perfect and as it was just me and my partner they allowed me to play some of her favourite music (Andrea Bocelli) the food was out of this world , the wine was delicious and the desert was amazing I had the port and cheeseboard for dessert and it was a generous portion I would definitely recommend

Absolutely wonderful meal. Couldn’t fault it. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Our waitress had time to briefly chat to us which was lovely (both waitresses were very good). Albeit it was a quiet Sat night in January, there was still a good atmosphere. House red very good (2 bottles). King prawn starter exceptional. Cod main dish beautifully cooked. Veal Milanese succulent and chicken saltimboca very tasty. Couldn’t fault anything. Just wished we lived closer so that it could be our regular haunt! Would definitely recommend for anyone in Cowes.

Really good experience. Excellent food, well served, friendly atmosphere. The Italian wine was a very special treat. Real feeling of genuine Italian food in a comfortable setting for a very reasonable price. I highly recommed.

Called in for a evening meal and noticed there was only one other couple in. Given a choice of where to sit we chose gordi's corner. Water was supplied to the table immediately, followed by our drinks order. The menu was large and was also supplemented by a specials board. Bread and oils appeared next. I selected fungi misti,a selection of mushrooms in garlic served with a crisp bread followed by a seafood spaghetti from the specials menu, unbelievable. Others ordered pizzas and puddings I couldn't recommend this restaurant high enough and found that the quietness of it only worked in our favour, apparently they are really busy at weekends so try a mid week, you won't be disappointed.

We booked a table in advance and arrived on time and gave our name to an elderly gentlemen who greeted us with a questioning look, as if he was surprised and confused that there was an early doors booking. We were shown our table by the door. The chairs on one side were compromised by an obstruction and one of our party had to sit at an angle. We were kindly offered a different table on the opposite side of the door and that too was very limited in space. All the tables that night were arranged very close together and we were thankful that we had indeed booked an early sitting, Because by the time most people arrived at around 7.30pm we had eaten and were ready to leave. We ordered the lamb stew and it was very salty and the vegetables that accompanied the dish were more than a little al dente. The food was edible but very mediocre. Sadly, we would not recommend Toninos and we will not be returning if visiting Cowes again.

The evening started well but was then ruined as our table for 2 was swamped by a huge noisy crowd. No offer to move us from the restaurant staff; we had to ask and were then moved (mostly doing it ourselves) to quieter area somewhat ungraciously. The portions are very large if you like that, but they do not know how to serve the classic Italian dessert Affogato - it came with cold instant coffee! Overall would not go again or recommend.

So so spaghetti seafood. Pomadoro sauce ciuld be reduced further to stick to the padta. 10% service charge - do they have a buffet - no. Can I collect my food from the pass , no. What choice do I have they have to serve me (service should be included if there is no alternative!!)

Without making a booking, they kindly found a space for us in busy Cowes Week. A very good choice of main courses, all well cooked. We shared a started of carpaccio of fillet steak - very tender & served with parmesan shavings & oil. Then I had a tuna fillet - fresh & pink and they gave me extra tomatoes as I didn't want chips ! My husband had a lovely thin pizza and we both had glasses of house wine. A lovely meal with good service.
