We’ve just been on holiday as a family and had the pleasure of eating at The Blacksmiths. The food was delicious, the setting is idyllic and the staff were very friendly and professional. This is the perfect place to have a family meal on your holiday. The price is really good for the quality of the food.

We were recommended this pub and I have to say it stood up to its reputation. It well deserves its Golden Pub Award and Silver for burgers (though the burger was a little big for me). The pub has a lovely warm feel, with good music, and welcoming staff. I would recommend booking in advance, but we were lucky enough to get a table as walk-ins. The pub has a lovely view and is also dog-friendly!

A very nice place serving good food. I can particularly recommend the Sunday roast. There is a good beer selection to choose from and is dog friendly. The garden has a good view across The Solent due to the pubs elevated position. There is a carpark and the pub is all on ground level. I believe the pub is fully wheelchair accessible. The No7 bus stops nearby.

Very popular resteraunt of winter recommend you book. Big outside area with tables and great views on the summer.Play park supervisable from both inside and outside seating if you wish.Can't give to much more comments as we stopped for a drink only.Nearby activities: Tapnell farm
