Really loved the atmosphere of this place, you can tell it's been many things in its long history and it's now a lovely Italian restaurant, cosy, intimate, and the food portions, very generous.The pasta dish was excellent with the mussels, the pizza fairy average, quite doughy and bland, the desserts were incredible.All round nice place to spend an evening

We went in last Saturday night with my mum who was visiting. I can't believe I've lived 20 minutes walk away for the past couple of years and missed out !The staff were very welcoming and service was exemplary.We had starters, main course and dessert, and I could not fault anything.The portion sizes are generous, and good value for money. As usual we had a fantastic meal. I had tagliatelle with smoked salmon. Highly recommended. Also highly recommended are the sweets. I had tiramisu but try any of them. You will not be disappointed.Parking: No where to park out side but there is a paid car park a couple of minutes walk down the road. Used to be free but the council have decided to start charging. Cost £2 to park after 18:00.
