Pubs in Ryde

“Visited for dinner with 4 adults and my 2 children (6yo and 2yo). The service was perfect and the staff were really friendly to our children. The food was of a really high standard and far above the average pub. Extensive specials menu alongside the standard a la carte. Would strongly recommend.Kid-friendliness: Staff were lovely to our children and happy to accommodate.”

“Luckily for us The solent was one of the nearest pubs to our hotel and we found it early in our visit. It's an old and traditional pub with good food and service. It's also Camra rated and serves some good real ales. The barman asked if I was a Camra member (I am) to give me a discount. My wife and I visited The Solent several times during our IOW long weekend. We enjoyed the garden and the friendly atmosphere in the bar.”

“Busiest pub on the Esplanade because it's the cheapest. That said, the drinks were good and on the Saturday evening we visited we saw no bad behaviour and enjoyed our visit.”

“A good pub. Staff were friendly. Service was very good. Food was nice, although the peas were a little over cooked, and 'mushrooms' consisted of one small one. However, a good meal for the price (We had steak with peppercorn sauce).”

“This Inn is located within 100 metres of the Wightlink ferry terminal at Fishbourne. The menu is varied and caters for all tastes. My roast beef Sunday lunch was delicious. The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. I recommend the Fishbourne Inn if you are in the area.”
