First time here in many years. Went along for the live band between 4 - 6 on a Sunday and found there to be a nice gathering of sociable folk all there for a great afternoon. There is some seating outside if you prefer to drink al fresco. Parking is pretty limited but I found a space in a neighbouring street about five mins walk away. Beer prices are reasonable and there seems to be a good selection. Can't comment on food or the atmosphere on other nights, but I will be visiting...read full review
Really good breakfast. Sausages are made of bread but what do you expect at that price. Big breakfast for £5.50 with a mug of tea, plenty of grub even for a big guy like me. I hope I get a chance to get here for breakfast again.

Popped in to check out the live music schedule.What a lovely bunch of people. Very welcoming and chatty. Stuart, the landlord is really nice and got lots of info about the groups and the local area. Can't wait for the weekend, to go and have a boogie.
