This good old fashioned fish and chip shop cooks food to order and it's well worth the wait for freshly cooked fish, that being said on a visit on a Tuesday or Saturday the chips are amazing and fresh cooked... but on a Friday fir some odd reason the chips have been precooked so brown, dried out and virtually inedible. The cod and haddock are both amazing but some people don't get that a fish actually has a skin and like all good fish and chip shops the fish is battered skin on.......read full review
Top quality chippy. It gets really busy but it is worth the wait. Phone your order in before you go. It is cash only so make sure you have some or you pay the local shops £2 fee.The cod was so fresh and the batter lovely and crispy. The battered sausage was the best I have ever had! They do all sorts of other things, I want the haggis next time. Highly recommend

It was shut. They clearly don't like making money. The big lurch in there is the rudest person I have ever met. This is from a previous visit when I was told (shouted at) that he wasn't cooking any more effing chips. Phoned on other occasions to be told they were closing because they wanted to get 8pm bus. Really not a clue on running a business
