Update: not much changed, the Northern owners still have it totally wrong and missed the local touch it is still poor and they have no awareness! This is a lovely traditional town pub. Its prices are great also. The pub has lots of screens to watch sport. Its not a hotel! I drunk London Pride in there a few days ago. It was loovely.

It was 7yrs ago but it was a wonderful and enjoyable experience. The place is older than I would have imagined but with the great pride the people working there had transferred to the roots of the building.
