Sunday roast chicken is the best. Not only the portion is better than other pubs and restaurants but the taste is also good. Specially the vegetables in cheesey white sauce. The place is well maintained. Service upstairs takes a while but it's worth the wait.
Warm, inviting local. A lovely pub. I'm treated like royalty in here. Great staff. Well kept beer. Great food. If I was to really nitpick, the only things I'd mention would be the decor (just the walls) could be a bit warmer and more homely. It's a bit white/beige. It could be made to feel cosier. It needs an open fire and a few big armchairs ?? A fab pub, my favourite place to drink. I hope it continues to do well in the future.

We really enjoyed our Sunday lunch in here Generous with portions. Staff friendly and efficient. Nice atmosphere.Would recommend
