6 of us visited yesterday. 3 all day breakfasts and 3 cod goijons. The food was amazing. There was plenty and all was cooked to perfection and well presented. The service was wonderful and the place was spotless. We will be in again. Thankyou.
I've driven past on many occasions over the years and never had time to stop. I finally went with a friend and was a little worried I might be disappointed. Not a bit of it! Nothing compares to my experience here. The place is nice, the service impeccable and the cod and chips with mushy peas was out of this world. The batter was crispy, the fish was flaky. Very popular place with a great chatty atmosphere. Something between a cafe and a restaurant. Obviously a favourite for friends to meet up. If menu looks heavy there are lighter options like grilled salmon. This pictured is the light bite cod and chips. Very traditional - pictured with a cup of tea!
