Recognition Time! The staff in the Canterbury branch of Hotel Chocolat absolutely knocked me sideways with their generosity and kindness today.I was chatting to a lady selling the Big Issue outside the shop and decided to get her a little gift. The staff in the shop saw what was happening and immediately offered to provide the gift for free!I wanted to thank the staff, and openly praise the company for having a culture that fosters that kind of thinking. It really made my day!

Loved this place. The only reason we didn't keep buying the amazing chocolate was the weight limit in our bags to fly home. Great Gin as well
Wendy was absolutely wonderful on our visit yesterday and helped us sign up to the loyalty scheme. She was patient, had a lovely smile and gave wonderful help and service.

We've made 3 visits to Hotel Chocolat in Canterbury and on each visit we have departed laden with some of our most favourite delights. We love Hotel Chocolat and the distinctive taste of their delicacies. The chocolates are absolutely exquisite and mouth watering tempting. We especially like the champagne truffles and the pistachio squares, but also the pink champagne truffles, the pecan squares and the fudge sundae. All are delicious and evoque a sense of decadence. If you are a chocoholic then this is the place for you. Recommended.

Didn't feel very welcome in Canterbury store - assistants just chatting. Didn't even get a good morning . Then when I got home found that the shop assistant had put wrong items in the bag..

Don't like the dark chocolate and some woman told my 4 year old child that Santa wasn't real.
