The appearance was modern and clean. Service was friendly and very quick. The drink I had which was a mocha coffee was perfect. Will go again ?

The Stag used to be my favourite place to get brunch in Canterbury. I have been back regularly over the last couple of years, saddened that the quality has dropped. However, after my last visit I am pleased to report it has made big improvements. Granted it is not back to its best but improvements are visible in the quality of food, coffee and service. It is also noticeably busier which is always a good sign. I hope it continues to improve so I can continue to rave about this place like I used to. I will be back soon!

Love this venue, amazing pleasant staff, the food tastes amazing (only criticism would be occasionally over fried), lots of board games to play and a good selection of drinks. The cocktails are great value!

Staff were very friendly and helpful - the barista was in a lovely mood and her singing along to the (great!) Music made me smile. Food was perfect, compliment to the chef - looking forward to returning!

We were very hungry after spending the morning walking around the cathedral and we stumbled across this little place as my husband saw someone eating a tasty looking burger through the window. It was offering somewhere warm with a decent menu and boardgames to help yourself to. The staff were friendly but what let the place down was the food. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak burger, which was essentially loads of cheese and huge amounts of onion with very little steak. Very unpleasant. We also ordered some cheesy garlic bread, which they forgot and we had to ask for a couple of times. My husband ordered the bacon and egg pancakes which were at least edible. It was a disappointing choice to stop for lunch.
