Just popped in whilst waiting for the train at a nearby railway station. This public house has changed a lot since my last visit back in the 90s. It is now a very cosy place to sit, relax, and enjoy food and drink whilst watching the sports channel in one corner of the bar.The service I received was very warm and welcoming. Would probably visit again.

We spent one night here as a family while passing through. It is a beautiful old house with rustic rooms. The pub serves delicious beer and very good burgers. The service team is very nice. Free parking right in front of the door. Just a 10 minute walk to the beautiful old town of Canterbury. Clear recommendation for both the rooms and the pub. Everything was fine. Thank you. We'd love to come back!

Cool pub. Great bar staff. Nice little outside space. Recommend the open mic every Thursday. Some bands at weekends too. I've heard good things about the food, but never tried.

Lovely evening spent with friends in this popular pub. Everyone was very friendly - the added bonus tonight was the fantastic entertainment because every Thursday is 'Open Mic Night' so we enjoyed good music.
