The food tasted fresh but it was a very long time coming out and then was served warm rather than hot. I can only assume it was waiting to be served to us at our table.We ordered the set menu, a large lemonade and one cider and the bill was £87 for two people. I think it was over priced for the overall experience. This was our second visit to the Jasmine House, the food quality, service and atmosphere are exemplary.We had the mixed hors d'oeuvres for a starter followed up with the quarter aromatic duck, chicken in satay sauce, and Kung po chicken.The food was all excellent and we will definitely return.

We have not been since before Covid but thought we would give it a try. We had Hot & Sour Soup & prawn crackers - very good perhaps a bit vinegary Sizzling scallops with ginger & spring onion - SUPERB - scallops make a change Spicy Chilli Aubergine - very nice - different Boiled Rice Chinese Tea A very nice meal but it seemed a bit expensive at £72.60
