“Came here with my husband, daughter, and our dog and had the best experience! Reece went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and was amazing with both my daughter and our dog. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was outstanding. A truly family- and dog-friendly gem — highly recommend!”

Great food options, great staff and importantly at a reasonable price.
Sunday is only roast dinners but they are lovely.
Been around 5 or 6 times for Sunday roast.”
Pubs • “Fantastic classic pub. The Timothy Taylor Landlord was exceptionally well kept. Always heard great things about this pub and can definitely report the beer was fantastic. Also, the bar staff were most welcoming and so friendly. Can’t wait to return.”

Pubs • “We live in Whitstable but wanted to take Mum for Sunday lunch at a place local to her home in Dartford. The Rose filled the bill. Great Sunday Roast, the meals were all lovely, prices very reasonable and staff/service efficient and friendly. Highly recommend. Sue x”

“Welcoming place, we stopped here after visiting the lavender fields. Staff is amazing and friendly the food however is not impressive, the ribs were really good and also the rabbit but the pork belly was unfortunately soggy. Must have been a unlucky day for the chef but unfortunately that was my only experience.”
