Had been looking forward to this for ages and it did not disappoint. The saltfish fritters and festivals were unreal as was the mountain of mac and cheese. Good value for the portions. Our waiter was really friendly and attentive as well.Marked down ever so slightly because the dessert was beyond disappointing. We got two slices of cheesecake for takeaway and they didn't taste of anything and to add injury to insult, they were £8 each!!! My partner didn't even eat hers it was so bad.Will try again but might just swerve the desserts.

Running out of a small kitchen at the side of the Astor Theatre, this unlikely little place is an absolute gem. Big portions of high-quality Carribean food, cooked super fresh. Great ingredients, tailored to availability of the best food (the fish is rarely the same kind two weeks in a row, but it's always great). There are a few tables and chairs for a street foody experience, but it's primarily a takeaway, on the usual main apps, and with walk-up service. As fresh and tasty as it gets, and it's amazing to have something like this in Deal.

Such an amazing place to eat!! The cook and his wife are so nice! A place to go in Deal for sure. We are the pork and the chicken with rice and peas, with plantain and we really enjoyed. With reggae music on the top… it was perfect. Eating on the parking is not the best view, but it is so “good and simple” that nothing else matters.
Amazing Jamaican food. We had the pork and chicken rice boxes and the portions were very big. The pork was a little fat for my liking but tasted amazing regardless as did the chicken. The chicken wings were great value, as you get 5 full wings for around £6
