Running out of a small kitchen at the side of the Astor Theatre, this unlikely little place is an absolute gem. Big portions of high-quality Carribean food, cooked super fresh. Great ingredients, tailored to availability of the best food (the fish is rarely the same kind two weeks in a row, but it's always great). Such an amazing place to eat!! The cook and his wife are so nice! A place to go in Deal for sure. We are the pork and the chicken with rice and peas, with plantain and we really enjoyed. With reggae music on the top… it was perfect. Eating on the parking is not the best view, but it is so “good and simple” that nothing else matters.

Absolutely delicious food, so tasty that I forgot to take a picture! Beautifully marinated, tender chicken, such gorgeous flavours. Had a cheeky Mac n cheese on the side too - we love everything Soul Chef cooks up. Thanks so much for making Deal tastier.
