Popped in for a breakfast here on Saturday 30/4/24. Eggs benedict was cooked to perfection, refill tea is always value for money . Staff were polite and efficient. Pub was clean and tidy despite it being fairly busy. Toilets were very clean and well maintained ( seen other Weatherspoons in need of updating and cleaning).Family friendly and reasonably priced

It's the best branch! ?????The cleanest branch with the kindest staff in a beautiful building.They serve quickly enough.Both coffee machines are working.(While many Wetherspoon buildings are beautiful, but most branches are dirty, and the coffee machines often do not work properly due to overcrowding and insufficient staff.)

Not my regular chain but came here during a break in lockdown. Impressed so returned. Not disappointed. Really good, friendly staff, even when busy. Food comes hot & quickly,even if busy. Clean & very well managed pub in the heart of a lovely town.Have returned 3 times since original post. Still good . All the above still apply

Hello, this was my first time coming out for a while, all I ever wanted was a pint of corona but then all of a sudden, I was denied, rejected, ignored and forgotten about and left for the gallows. I felt like an unwanted piece of rubbish. Being manipulated and gaslit by the unwilling and not reasonable staff members, forcing them I am not lying and that I have been charged. My world crumbled around me as I waited for what felt like an eternity for no end result, shame on you weather spoons.

It's a OK place good prices on food and beer not to keen on the rear of premises as its all neon and quite cold and there is a constant draft which if you are sat in the right place your food will go cold very quickly, I stress this is not the fault of the employees who try their best.
